Skarra Mucci, the world-renowned Jamaican MC known as the Dancehall President, joins forces with Manudigital, one of Europe’s leading producers, for an explosive project: Ragga Blasta.
The EP delivers a wide range of inspirations. It opens with the title track Ragga Blasta, setting the tone with a fusion of reggae and hip-hop influences. Skarra Mucci rides the riddim with unstoppable lyrics over a boom bap-infused production.
Old-school flavors emerge on tracks like Angel, built on a ragga/hip-hop beat and lifted by an intoxicating sample from Likkle Devon, or Freedom Fighter, with heavy basslines and a catchy fast-style chorus. The duo also explore rub-a-dub vibes with Inna Mi Brain, an introspective cut that stays true to reggae’s essence: simple and effective.
