Yarol Poupaud X Dhoad : Rajasonic

RAJASONIC is an extraordinary musical encounter born from chance, friendship, and a shared passion for cultural exchange.

In August 2023, at the prestigious Festival des Cultures du Monde in Confolens, French rock guitarist Yarol Poupaud (founding member of FFF and former musical director for Johnny Hallyday) met Rahis Bharti and DHOAD (Gypsies of Rajasthan), internationally acclaimed as cultural ambassadors of Rajasthan.

The connection was immediate. A unique chemistry emerged between the energy of French rock and the ancestral musical traditions of Rajasthan.

This encounter led to a series of concerts across India, in Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Delhi, before continuing in the studio to create a new musical project: RAJASONIC.

Blending rock guitar riffs, funk grooves, tablas, dholaks, harmonium, and vocals in Hindi and English, RAJASONIC offers a unique musical journey between India and France.
