YAROL POUPAUD

Yarol Poupaud is a French guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer renowned for his versatility and creative energy. A key figure in the French rock scene, he first rose to prominence as a founding member of FFF, the pioneering funk rock band of the 1990s. With his instinctive guitar playing and strong sense of rhythm, he has developed a distinctive sound blending rock, funk and soul.

Throughout his career, Yarol has collaborated with a wide range of artists, from the alternative music scene to some of France's biggest touring acts. He notably performed with Niagara in the 1990s before joining Johnny Hallyday as guitarist, musical director and long-time stage collaborator.

Passionate about musical diversity, Yarol has also worked with numerous African, Indian and Jamaican artists, incorporating reggae, afrobeat and blues influences into his music. He has also composed for film and received a César Award nomination in 2010 for the soundtrack of *Bus Palladium*.
