"Racing with the Sun" was conceived as the soundtrack to a film where mysterious characters cross paths from one track to the next. To bring this vision to life, the trio dug deep into crates of black wax, extracting the finest samples, exploring new musical landscapes and sonic atmospheres: Chinese reggae (“Miss Chang”), gospel infused with UK dub (“Racing with the Sun”), and old-school hip-hop blended with traditional music (“Stand!”)... The trio pushes their signature sound into uncharted territory.
